Masters Rx M/M
A team of 2 division
The Masters RX division represents a unique blend of the RX and Intermediate divisions, tailored specifically for athletes whose combined age reaches 75 years within the calendar year of the event.
In the Masters RX division, teams are formed by pairing athletes whose combined ages meet the 75-year requirement.
While the weights prescribed in the Masters RX division remain classic RX, they are not elevated to the more challenging RX+ standards often seen in other competitions. This ensures that athletes in this division are challenged appropriately without compromising safety or accessibility.
Similar to the RX division, the Masters RX division emphasizes proficiency in bodyweight movements and gymnastics skills. Athletes in this division are expected to demonstrate mastery of advanced gymnastics movements such as muscle-ups, handstand push-ups, and chest-to-bar pull-ups, along with proficiency in classic CrossFit bodyweight exercises like pistols, box jumps, and double-unders.
Here is a list of common weights and movements that RX Masters competitors should be able to do:
Snatch 155/105
Clean & Jerk 185/125
Deadlift 315/225
Thruster 135/95
Bench Press 175/105
Back Squat 225/155

Masters Rx M/F

Intermediate M/M
A team of 2 division
You perform roughly 50% of the movements RX but modify many classic WODs due to strength or gymnastic necessity. People in this division can generally do a kipping pull up (but maybe not strict one yet). Handstand push ups are modified in this division.
Traditionally scaling involves a reduction in the weight from Rx by approximately 25% (If the RX division was doing 135/95# thrusters, intermediate would be doing 95/65#).
Double unders are scaled in reps from the RX’d number in this division. If you are an RX athlete DO NOT join an Intermediate team just because they need another person, this undermines the integrity of the competition. Rope climbs are typically not modified for this division.
Here is a list of common weights and movements that Intermediate competitors should be able to do:
Snatch 135/95
Clean & Jerk 155/105
Deadlift 275/185
Thruster 95/65
Bench Press 175/95
Back Squat 225/155
Kipping Handstand Push-ups
Pull-ups
Chest to Bar Pull-ups

Scaled M/M
A team of 2 division
This division requires an invitation or password to register
You perform 80% of the movements scaled. Pull ups are all assisted (bands, jumping pull ups, ring rows). Weights lifted are significantly less than Rx, 65/45# Thrusters for example. Full ROM push ups may be difficult, box jumps are generally steps ups, wall balls are with a 14/10# ball to an 8′ or 9′ target. Single unders only or heavy rope singles. Toes to bar are not expected and hanging knee raises or sit ups are substituted. ROM standards are encouraged but competition is friendly, mobility restrictions are tolerated.
Here is a list of common weights and movements that Scaled competitors should be able to do:
Snatch 75/55
Clean & Jerk 95/65
Deadlift 185/125
